Fans are so hard to please, aren’t they?
When the teaser photos came out, there were some ELF’s that I saw on the Allkpop comments section that said, “Oh, I hope this isn’t another SJ Funky song” and “I hope SuJu does something different than Sorry Sorry, Bonamana, etc…”
But once our beautiful 24 second teaser and full audio of ‘Sexy, Free, and Single’ were released, I’m seeing comments on YouTube that say “This isn’t as catchy as Sorry Sorry, Bonamana, etc…”, “This is too different… I don’t like it”, and my favorite, “Not listening to the rest of the album. Song sucks.”
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but… wow. Kind of harsh comments, right?
Yunho can only describe my feelings about this…
Thanks, Yunho. You’re a pal.
For those ELF’s that are making these comments, I have three things to tell you. One, I still love you. Two, please make up your damn minds. Do you like SJ Funky or do you like SJ SexyFree (I don’t know how to describe the song without using ‘semi-funky’ other than this, so deal with it). Do you want a repetitive song like Sorry Sorry, Bonamana, and Mr. Simple, or do you like tracks more like It’s You, Don’t Don, and Sexy, Free, and Single, where they’re less repetitive? Do you want crazy costumes and makeup, or do you want simple suit and ties (which would be an incredibly sexy concept, by the way. SM, I’m waiting).
And three, don’t bash an entire album just because you didn’t like one song. You can always press the skip button on your CD player or iPod, or if you’re buying the album on iTunes or Naver (stuff like that), you don’t even have to spend any money to download the song. Just don’t download it.
So, while certain ELF’s continue to freak out about how much the song ‘sucked’, I’m gonna appreciate the fact that Super Junior is putting out an album in the first place, which is what all of us should be doing right now, especially if we’re not going to get another one until 2014.
Don’t like it?
